Juan: Thanks for coming to the party – Gracias por venir a la fiesta. It simply translates to “with pleasure”, and for extra emphasis, you can say “con mucho gusto”, which means “with great pleasure”. 1) Con gustoĪlong with “¡de nada!”, this is the most common phrase to express “you’re welcome”. Of course, as we’ll explain below, some of these expressions may be more used than others, depending on the country you’re in. However, in this post we want to arm you with a few alternative ways to express the same, whether you are making small talk with a friend, in formal conversation with colleagues, there is a suitable expression for any situation. Of course, there’s nothing wrong with that, since it’s probably the most common way to express “you’re welcome” among native speakers. If you’re like most Spanish students, then you probably learned “¡De nada!” early on, and stuck with that tried and trusted expression. The Google Wifi hardware itself is relatively inoffensive. My backyard was still a trouble spot, likely because it’s tough for wireless signals to get through my thick walls. As I ventured through my home, the levels dropped to a still-solid 60mbps. And I immediately saw screaming fast results, getting 130mbps speeds right next to the router. After 30 minutes of head-scratching along with a techie on Google’s support hotline, we finally made it work without a hitch. The router that connected to my modem wasn’t registering the Internet connection. The only problem I experienced using Google Wifi (GOOGL) came shortly after taking it out of the box. Coupled with a useful app, it proved to be a good solution for both set-it-and-forget-it users as well as power networkers. Google’s latest foray into home networking hardware, the Google Wifi array uses three routers to blanket up to 4,500 square feet in both 2.4Ghz- and 5Ghz-band Internet signals. And even if you’re not overloading your home network with lots of devices, buying your own modem and router can result in significantly faster speeds compared to using the models provided by your Internet company. So, rather than your smartphone grabbing video from a router downstairs and across your house, it’s getting a connection from a closer device, giving you a much stronger, speedier signal. With a mesh setup, you place a number of hotspots throughout your home (often three), extending your Internet signal’s reach without degrading its signal. How do you keep all your gadgets running at top-notch speed? The secret is a new generation of Wi-Fi routers built around “mesh” technology. ![]() Get Data Sheet, Fortune’s technology newsletter. Almost one-third of homes will have some sort of connected gear this year, according to one estimate, a figure that will nearly double by 2021. Using a 2013-era Apple Airport Extreme connected wirelessly to a 2007-era Extreme, I was lucky to reach all my various connected gear and get a 30mbps connection on my work computer – far slower than the 200mbps I was paying for.īecause I’ve got all sorts of connected devices throughout my home, my data demands are probably greater than yours. Over the past four years, I’ve jerry-rigged a Wi-Fi setup in my home to push my Internet from its point-of-entry in my house - a cable modem buried down in my basement - all the way to my garage on the other side of the property. ![]() ![]() I got to admit, so far, I haven’t participated yet. The soil behind the wall is reinforced using geo mat and acts as the retaining structure. Reinforced earth retaining wall – For high walls and if the soil conditions allow a reinforced earth wall can be very economical. This design uses less blocks then the traditional gravity wall. Now that you know the basics necessary to fully understand OSPF areas, we can discuss about different OSPF area types. The same applies to O N1 and O N2 routes. ![]() Note: E1 are type 1 routes – used when there are multiple ASBRs advertising a route to the AS external cost is added to the internal cost of each link Į2 are type 2 routes – used if only one router is advertising a route to the AS external cost does not change External routes – routes from other autonomous system (AS), external to the particular OSPF area appear as O E1 or O E2 in a standard area and as O N1 or O N2 in a NSSA or totally NSSA area.Inter-area routes – routes originated in other OSPF areas marked with O IA.Intra-area routes – routes originated and learned in the same area, i.e.Default route – a route used to propagate traffic to an external area marked with O*IA.OSPF route – typical route marked with O in routing table indicates OSPF as the origin of the route. We also distinguish between different types of routes in routing tables: For example, if it is connected to the backbone and nonbackbone area, and to a non-OSPF network, it is both an ABR and an ASBR. Note: A router can be of more than one type simultaneously. Autonomous System Boundary Routers – have at least one interface connected to another autonomous system (such as another OSPF system or EIGRP).Area Border Routers – have interfaces attached to multiple areas, and connect nonbackbone areas to the backbone area.Backbone Routers – have at least one interface connected to backbone area.Internal Routers – have all of their interfaces in the same area, i.e.With respect to the area(s) they interconnect to, we differentiate between internal, backbone, ABR (Area Border Router) and ASBR (Autonomous System Boundary Router) OSPF routers. Also, users are not generally placed within a backbone, but within nonbackbone areas which will be explained in further text. So, the backbone area is the main area to which other areas connect, either physically or by using OSPF virtual links, to exchange and route information. The main difference between these two areas is that the backbone area represents the core of the network and provides the fast movement of network traffic, while the nonbackbone area connects users and resources. Except the fact it is a link-state routing protocol (it has a complete picture of the network routers send the state of their own interfaces/links to all other routers), which I am sure you all knew, OSPF implements a two-layer area hierarchy: the backbone area, also called OSPF area 0, and the regular ( nonbackbone) area. In order to understand OSPF areas, you should be aware of a few important things regarding the OSPF routing protocol. Even though I will give a brief introduction into some basic OSPF concepts, it is assumed you have a prior knowledge of the OSPF (CCNA level). In this article, I will explain different types of OSPF areas, and when should you consider dividing your network into areas.
